Servings: 6 hash browns
Course: Appetizer, Snack
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 6 frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped
  • sour cream optional
  • hot sauce optional

Method

  1. Prepare your hash browns according to the package or in the air fryer for roughly 8-10 minutes. Careful not to let them touch because they will stick together.
  2. Place cooked hashbrowns on a lined baking sheet (silpat, parchment, or foil are all fine but grease the foil so they don't stick). Sprinkle the shredded cheese and bacon on top of the cooked hashbrowns.
  3. Then, place in oven and broil for roughly a minute - until the cheese is melted. Set a timer! You don't want to burn these tasty little hash browns.
  4. Remove from oven and top with green onions. If desired, add sour cream and hot sauce or sriracha!

Notes

These are best enjoyed immediately but you can rewarm in the oven to make crispy again.
