This one pan dinner is made perfectly in a cast iron skillet. The real MVP of the beef stir fry is the McCormick®  ONE Seasoning Mix.

Cook Time 10 minutes
Servings: 4 people
Course: dinner
Cuisine: Chinese

Ingredients

  • 1 packet McCormick®  ONE Seasoning Mix - Beef Stir Fry
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil divided
  • 1 pound skirt steak sliced thinly
  • 3-4 cups fresh peppers and onions chopped

Method

  1. Mix water, soy sauce and McCormick®  ONE Seasoning Mix - Beef Stir Fry in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat. Add beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set on plate or in bowl while you prepare veggies.
  3. Add chopped veggies to skillet with the additional Tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes or until tender-crisp.
  4. Stir sauce mixture in bowl to combine again. Add to skillet with veggies. While stirring constantly, bring to a boil on medium heat. Once boiling, add beef back into skillet. Cook for another minute or two, until sauce is thickened.
  5. Serve with rice or on its own!

Notes

You can also use flank steak instead of skirt steak.
