Toomey’s Seasonings is an all purpose seasoning crafted by Chef Matt Toomey in California. It’s amazing on almost anything but we are sharing three of our favorite ways to use it!
Toomey’s Seasoning recently reached out to us to try out and share their all purpose seasoning and after a little research, we gladly accepted! I’m so glad we did.
Chef Matt Toomey created Toomey’s Seasoning at Toomey’s Restaurant in Mammoth Lake, California (brb, want to visit) and realized people outside of the restaurant needed to try this. It makes everything taste better – steak, seafood, pork, veggies, etc. You’ll love it whether you are a beginner cook or advanced in the kitchen.

Let’s start with breakfast because it’s my favorite meal of the day. I’m like Leslie Knope in that way. Although, I’m not suggesting you put Toomey’s on your waffles.. for now.
I am suggesting you ditch the plain salt and pepper and start putting Toomey’s Seasoning all over your morning eggs. While we made fried eggs, you could do this with just about any way you like yours – scrambled, poached, in an omelet, whatever!
The flavor adds a salty delicious element to your breakfast and you’ll be hooked.
While I could eat eggs for every meal and be pleased, I need to switch it up sometimes. Oh, but maybe you could also put the fried eggs ON this asparagus. Total yum.
We added 1 teaspoon on Toomey’s to 1/3 cup of Panko bread crumbs to coat this asparagus. You can adjust the seasoning depending on what you like best.
Adding Toomey’s to veggies will make even the pickiest eater enjoy this healthy side dish. Trust me, I live with two.
For a protein rich option, add some Toomey’s Seasoning to grilled chicken! This is an awesome meal prep idea to give your chicken some delicious flavor and then you can add to salads, put in a wrap or just eat plain!
I like to dip mine in honey mustard for a little tangy option. But, you could also use the chicken in these Hawaiian sliders.
