Easy snacks are the real MVP in our household, especially when they are as delicious as these salami wrapped olives with cheese. I mean, it’s basically a charcuterie board on a toothpick, YUM.
But, to make the best ones, you’ve got to have the best ingredients. We’ll get to them all later but let’s talk about the high quality salami first!
Margherita® Genoa Salami Cracker Cuts are not only great tasting, they can be found at just about any major retailer nationwide. We snagged ours at Meijer in the deli section.
These little salami cuts are perfect for snacking and entertaining, but even better for this little weekend snack. The Italian flavors of the salami pair so perfectly with the smooth white cheddar and briny olives.
All you have to do to make these salami wrapped olives is assemble and stick a toothpick through ’em! Seriously, that’s it!
Assemble in a cute dish or on a festive plate to enjoy your weekend snack. You can serve them immediately or toss in the fridge until you’re ready to dig in.
Try to control yourself from eating the Genoa salami straight from the bag. You can see in the pictures that the salami is a little thicker than pepperoni which makes it perfect with the cheese and olives.
A few other great weekend snacks.
I mean this is the greatest weekend snack, but here are a few other recommendations to get your snack on.
- Naan Pizza Dippers. I love these little pizza dippers, so easy to make and the whole family will love them.
- Chocolate Covered Cookies. What is a weekend without cookies?
- Honey Chex Snack Mix. This recipe is so old and so freaking delicious. I should probably make this again ASAP.
