This French toast smoothie is absolutely delicious and super easy to make! We used milk and yogurt from a local farm in Columbus called Snowville Creamery.
Who isn’t familiar with Snowville Creamery? I’ll admit they are one of my absolute favorite local vendors in Ohio.
During my time at Whole Foods Market, I worked with them on countless events, promotions and learned to love the company and love their products even more. If you aren’t familiar, let me bring you up to speed with their awesome standards. And full disclosure, they gave us these amazingly delicious maple yogurts on the house but all opinions are our own.
All their cows graze on grass where they get to live their happy grass-grazing lives on five beautiful southeastern Ohio dairy farms. All that grazing improves their physical fitness but also builds soil, prevents erosion, protects water and reduces air pollution.
While all of that is awesome for cows and the environment, they also care about how this affects their customers like you and me! Milk (and yogurt!) from grass grazed cows in higher in omega 3 fatty acids and CLA. This all links to their tagline of “Milk The Way It Used To Be” which is pretty catchy if I do say so myself.
Snowville Creamery makes a ton of delicious products but I’m focusing on my favorite flavor of their yogurt, maple, for this recipe! Seriously, it’s creamy and delicious and just perfectly sweetened with locally harvested maple syrup. You could definitely just eat this on its’ own but why not make an amazingly delicious smoothie instead. Plus, the perfect maple flavor is what makes this smoothie taste like a giant mouthful of French Toast.
Oh, look another awesome Snowville Creamery product! So I can be pretty weird about milk. I prefer whole milk because it just seems simpler to me and “as it should be.” Plus, it makes everything taste better. But, if you’re more of a low-fat kind of gal or gent, they’ve also got you there! They even have a magical chocolate milk that will change your life.
This smoothie recipe is literally so easy and is packed full of protein. The smoothie single serving has almost 10 grams of protein from the yogurt, milk, and banana which is delightful. It’s perfectly sweet with the maple from the yogurt and the banana and balances out with the cinnamon and nutmeg.
All those flavors are a recipe for success for your French Toast smoothie. Find Snowville Creamery at stores like Whole Foods Market or take a look at their website here! Also, if you want to get real crazy, serve your smoothie alongside some actual French Toast sticks and then please share a picture with us.
