This post is in partnership with Cbus Personal Assistants. All thoughts, opinions, and photos are our own.
I’m not sure if you all feel this way but I’m a BIG believer in if you put something into the universe, it will happen. That’s exactly what happened with our partnership with Cbus Personal Assistants!
Our lives are busy. We both work, we have this little side hustle, we have a very active toddler, we have friends and family we want to hang with, and then there is little thing called relaxation that we like to incorporate into our lives. Joel and I have been talking about ways to make our lives easier and how to spend more time on things we enjoy like cooking, family time, and traveling.
In comes Columbus Personal Assistants to save the day!
Nikki, the owner reached out about giving us a session (3 hours) with one of their PA’s (Personal Assistants) to help us with whatever we needed. She connected us with Sydnie who was just a delight and helped us tremendously in those three hours!
Let me tell you the top three things that we hate doing and would gladly have someone else help us.
1 – Constantly cleaning whether it’s dishes, laundry, vacuuming, etc. It never ends!
2 – Organizing/getting rid of/donating items we’ve accumulated over the years, especially clothes, cooking things, and toys.
3 – Efficiently decorating our house so there is a space for everything while also looking adult and trendy.
Sydnie helped us with ALL OF THIS in just THREE hours.
I remember once telling my dad that we got our groceries delivered and I believe he used the word lazy (sorry dad if you’re reading this). He might have used the word “lazy,” but I like to use the phrase “efficient with my time.” If I can have someone like Amazon or Cbus Personal Assistants help me out with things I dread doing – why wouldn’t I utilize them!?
I’m very protective of my time and spending hours each week doing dishes is not my favorite thing. I mean, obviously you can tell that by these horrible before pictures.
If you’ve never used a PA before (I sure hadn’t!), let me tell you some of the things they can do for you.
- Make purchases and returns.
- Sydnie picked out new shelves for my office area and I ordered them right off Amazon right after she left!
- Walk and play with your pets.
- Sydnie played with our cat Henry and gave him some treats while I was working.
- Deal with Customer Service.
- I didn’t have her help with this but you better believe that if someone else can deal with the cable company, I’m sold.
- Grocery shop and meal prep.
- Organize and simplify.
- Sydnie helped me rearrange my desk, part of our kitchen, and we talked about future projects!
- Household chores.
- She did all our dishes and it was magical.
- Research projects.
- LAUNDRY.
Cbus Personal Assistants can seriously help you with SO many things and I can’t recommend them enough. In this busy world we live in, I honestly feel like this is a form of self-care! I felt such a weight lifted after Sydnie left because I could spend more time with O or making dinner or heck drinking a glass of wine because I didn’t have to scramble to clean up or rearrange things before I went to bed.
They have a few different packages and pricing tiers depending on what kind of services and how often you need them. You can find all those details right here on their website.
