The Bros Sandwich Shack in Avon, Outer Banks is a must visit restaurant. It’s delicious, affordable, and somewhere the whole family will love.
Another spot in Outer Banks that was a little far from our beach house. The Bros Sandwich Shack is a restaurant that The Beard found and I’m so glad he did. It was delicious!
My sister joined us for this restaurant trek and she may or may not have become obsessed with ALL the sauces. Bros Sandwich Shack is in the Avon area next to a Food Lion (of course) and is run by two brothers who have cooked all over the USA only to make their way to Outer Banks to have a restaurant of their very own.
The Bros Sandwich Shack is open from 11am-9pm every day and has a super approachable atmosphere perfect for kids, adults, and everyone in between.
Prices range from about $7 for a salad and up to $13 for a sandwich. The sandwiches are served on their own so you’ll want to add some of their delicious fries too!
One of my favorite parts of this restaurant was definitely their homemade sauces. I’m a huge condiment person so this was right up my alley.
My sister is the same way, at any point she has about 15-20 different types of sauces in her fridge. All of their sauces at Bros Sandwich Shop are completely homemade making them even more delicious.
We tried the awesome sauce and the avocado ranch and so delicious. They also have options like wasabi ranch, tangy steakhouse buffalo, sweet chili and creole honey mustard. Yum! Please bottle these and deliver to my front porch, thanks.
For my sandwich, I opted for the Cali Cub (sans bacon) and it was fabulous. Obviously, I had to add a side of sweet potato fries because they are my favorite. Bonus points because they are also waffle fries! Anyone who says waffle fries are not the best fry variety is incorrect.
The Beard got the steak Philly and it was amazing too. Slices of steak, peppers, onions on a crispy and soft baguette topped with Bros signature smoked gouda cheese sauce! He also ordered regular waffle fries with cheese sauce on top, he’s a smart man.
My sister switched it up and got the chicken Philly which is grilled chicken breast, sautéed peppers and onions topped with smoked gouda cheese sauce. She got some curly fries on the side and possibly ordered all the dipping sauces too.
If you find yourself in Outer Banks, make sure you make a visit to Bros Sandwich Shack! Also, be sure to check out some of our other Outer Banks posts here.
