How To Make Easy Buffalo Chicken Casserole
The best thing about making a casserole, they are SUPER easy to make. It takes just a few steps and is done in about 45 minutes, half of that time it’s in the oven!
- Prepare your shredded chicken. You can purchase a rotisserie chicken, use store bought shredded chicken from the deli or prepare it yourself at home. We opted for making it ourself and used this recipe here.
- Prep your Creamette Extra Wide Egg Noodles according to package instructions. You can toss them in a little bit of oil after they are done cooking so they don’t stick together.
- While your noodles are boiling, you can prepare the sauce. Melt the butter and then add the buffalo sauce, softened cream cheese, and seasonings. Whisk together until totally melted, about 6-8 minutes. Add the chicken and mix until combined.
- Pour the chicken buffalo mixture into a large bowl then add the Creamette® Extra Wide Egg Noodles and stir till combined. Add half the cheese and combine.
- Then, you add to a greased glass dish and top with the remaining cheese and a half of the green onions.
- Toss in the oven and bake for 20 minutes!
When you remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before digging in. Then, try not to eat it all in one sitting. It’s seriously addicting and something your whole family will love while sitting around the table together.
